The F Word (released in the US and UK as What If) is a 2013 romantic comedy film directed by Michael Dowse and scripted by Elan Mastai. The screenplay is based on T. J. Dawe and Michael Rinaldi’s play Cigars and Toothpaste. The F Word follows Wallace (Daniel Radcliffe), who becomes infatuated with a girl named Chantry (Zoe Kazan), only to discover that she’s already dating another man which causes their relationship to be put in the “friend zone”.
