God’s Pocket is an American drama film directed by John Slattery and co-written with Alex Metcalf, based on a 1983 novel of same name by Pete Dexter. The film stars Christina Hendricks, Philip Seymour Hoffman (in one of his final roles), John Turturro and Richard Jenkins. The film premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival to mixed reviews, and was picked up for distribution by IFC Films. The film will be released limited on May 9, 2014.
